OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partFOUR]

The "fav" lady today happens to be Miss Vanessa Hudgens. Her big break was starring in High School Musical 1,2&3 alongside her on&off screen boyfriend Zac Efron! I don't know if any of you have seen the latest HSM but I did, and I LOVED it! I just wish there was less Troy&Gabriella and more of Sharpay&Ryan!

Sporting the "goth chic" Vanessa brings a little 1980's MADONNA to her outfit by adding the rosary [PS. no offence but I think that is totally disrespectful]. I'm not a fan of the sheer sides and chest, it reminds me of the millennium when people were CONVINCED they were supposed to dress like idiots. Anyway, this look brings me back to Britney/Christina-first award show!

Overall, I must say I do like this type of look on her; not this PARTICULAR outfit but I like black on her, it just makes her look very exotic and sexy! I do like her hair, it reminds me a little bit of Selena Gomez but it looks great on both of them, so that fine. On the other hand, Hudgens, PLEASE take that lame smirk off your face, you look like a TOOL.

OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partTHREE]

SO SORRY for the terrible picture today, I know you cant see the entire outfit, but no worries, I promise I'll describe it for you! Today's lady is Camilla Belle the beautiful talented and obviously young actress. Recently, she starred in the Jonas Brothers latest music video "Lovebug" as a young woman in love [set in the 1940's] but her boyfriend has to go off to war. Now as you can see this young lady is GORGEOUS but does she have style? That is the true question. Well today she does because I happen to LOVE this outfit [I say that a lot don't I...]! Ruffles are VERY in this season and I love the fact that you can find them anywhere! Although there's not much color, it still works, neutral can be a good thing you know! Her skirt is kind of "fluffy" almost ahaha! You can sorta tell in the picture! Anyway, the skirt works very well with this shirt, and I love the beige bow on the waistband of the skirt, VERY nice detail!

Her shoes are BEAUTIFUL sandal heels that I believe are silver, and they work perfectly with the outfit! I guess you could call it, "classy n' sassy"! Thought of that one cold turkey, I deserve props! Also, I love her hair like that, pulled back ever so softly in a very clean bun, it goes with that whole "classy" portion!

Great job Camilla, you're the envy of girls everywhere! Keep it up.

OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partTWO]

Today's lady, Demi Lovato! She starred as Mitchie in Disney's "Camp Rock" alongside the Jonas Brothers. Not to mention, she landed a spot on their SOLD OUT summer tour; "Burnin' Up"!! I went, and loved it. One thing I can for sure say about this girl is that SHE CAN ROCK. Demi is an amazing performer so the JoBro's had a tough act to follow [no worries, they managed!]!

Now, for the clothes. My thoughts? The dress is BIZARRE but it looks AMAZING! I don't know how these people do it, honestly. The "little black dress" [Audrey Hepburn style of course] NEVER goes out of style! The only thing I don't enjoy, is the additional sparkly-things [sorry I have no idea how to explain it] ahah! But I have to admit, if there was nothing on it, I wouldn't have been happy either... it's a tough case tonight.

To go along with the traditional dress, Lovato picks the ever-so-classy pointed toe mid-size heel. Plain, but they totally bring the whole look together! Another thing I MUST comment on is her HAIR! It looks amazing and I love the natural color! Her makeup is flawless, but wouldn't all of ours be if we had that "team"!?

You scored high tonight Demi, but I've seen other outfits of yours and my reaction tends to be "not such a happy camper".

OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partONE]

This weeks theme [OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD] is the follow up to our theme 3 weeks back OUR FAV MEN IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD. And who better to start off the new week than POP PRINCESS, Miley Cyrus! So she's had a bad breakup with ex Nick Jonas and a couple unnecessary leaked pictures, but she seems to be doing exceptional. Has ANYONE seen that new UNDERWEAR MODEL of hers!? Yummy.

I have to admit I'm a personal fan of hers but hopefully I won't be too biased. I actually really love this look, except her hair is throwin' me off a lil' bit! The top works in harmony with her tiny waist and I even love the fact that you can see a little bit of skin [on those hip bones] TOTALLY HOT! Entire midriff = NO, cute little areas = YES! I wish there was more color, but I think for this look it actually works, she's pulling off a very edgy almost rocker vibe.

I LOVE the LEOPARD PRINT! That's huge in my books! I'm not talkin' its okay to wear a full on leopard dress, but I'm a huge fan leopard accents! So leopard pumps = PERFECT. I also love the excessive amount of necklaces and bracelets, kind of MADONNA in the 80's! As for the hair, it looks cute but I never really understood the half straight half curly. It just kinda seems like she ran out of time and didn't bother to fix it!

All hair problems aside, Miley you look totally bad ass and I love the fact that your fashion relates to all your different personalities LIKE MOI!

This MOMMA, Michelle Williams, suffered a great deal this year with the death of her baby's father; Heath Ledger [may he rest in peace]. Their daughter Matilda Ledger was born on May 28th 2005 in Brooklyn.

Looking beautiful at the premier of her latest film (Synecdoche, New York) Michelle sports a white draped Grecian style dress. I LOVE the simplicity of this dress, and I almost wish it was a one-shoulder dress instead of two, because I think that would have made it much more feminine looking. Nonetheless, it looks great on her body shape and the color works perfect with her skin! I love that she decides to go with a dark shade boot; very modern and sophisticated!

Her red lips look great in contrast with her pale skin and light dress.

BABY MOMMA's [partSIX]

Jennifer Garner is one of the few BABY MOMMA's that has actually embraced the "mommy" look. Ex TV-Action Star, Garner, gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter named Violet Affleck in LA on December 1st 2005!

Although she seems to be the only one, I love the fact that Jen isn't trying to be someone shes not. When you become a mom priorities change, its irrelevant!

She looks adorable, I love her shirt! It's the ultimate way to cover up excess baby weight or just a general bulge! I love the wash of the jean, very easily dressed up OR down! Ah ha! The "peep-toe appearance"! I love seeing re-occurring trends on these celebs! Jen goes with a neutral color [very mom ahah] with dark nails! LOVE IT!

The only thing I could complain about is the fact that she's wearing blue on blue, not a big deal, just a personal preference. Oh okay, I lied and one more thing; that purse. Not ugly, just very plain, it reminds me of a 13 year old's very first "dressy" purse. Next time just choose something a little more exciting, okay?

Other than that, you go Garner! Continue to look great in your "mommy" ways!

Baby Momma Nicole Richie looks glam at the 30th Anniversary of the Carousel Of Hope Ball at the Beverly Hills Hotel! On January 11th 2008, Nicole and Joel's daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born at 6 pounds 7 ounces!


First of all, I just have to say, she looks like shes aged 20 years! Not really a good thing Nicole, but we work with what we've got right? Anyway, I'm just going to put this out there, NOT A FAN.


I think she looks terrible! She reminds me of Victoria Gotti in this outfit! One bonus, her chest has DEFINITELY grown! The style of the dress is actually very classy and works extremely well with her new found MOMMA CURVES! BUT. THOSE. SEQUINS. They're killin' me! It's a little too over the top for me!

Also, this outfit is lacking what I LOVE; accented color. All her accessories are the same colour as the dress, not to mention her HAIR! Nicole, not gonna lie, you let me down. Oh well! Maybe next time...

This MOMMA has been named SEXIEST WOMAN by every MAN and by almost every woman too! Jessica Alba seemed to get her great figure back just like everyone hoped! This hottie gave birth to Honor Marie Alba on June 7th 2008!

The little black dress. Elegant and sophisticated, but leaves you wanting MORE. She looks amazing in this dress; breathtaking! Although it is so plain, she totally rocks it, and SOMEHOW incorporates her own spunk just with her presence! Go Jess! The shoes are the very similar elegant style; she goes with a black pump for this particular dress. Our books = PERFECT!

Not to mention she has the hair of a freakin' goddess! Looking great post-prego, love! Keep your head high!

Before we begin tonight's madness, I just wanted to thank JustJared for all the pictures! Today's pick, Katie Holmes! Lately, she broke out onto the Broadway scene in the play "Eli Stone". Katie mothers the infamous Suri Cruise, born on April 18th 2006 weighing in at 7 pounds and 7 ounces!


To be honest, I don't really know what "that" is!? I mean for some reason I'm attracted to it, but I definitely don't understand it ahaha! She looks very Jackie on "That 70's Show"! It looks great on her because she IS so lean and tall, and not to mention the heels are adding some important length there.

So I like this jumper thing, A LOT. I love the lace detail at the top; apparently that seems to be IN lately! Ive been reminded multiple times in the last while! I love the shoes I think they're very modern yet old-school and I think they work perfectly! What a perfect way to add height to an already tall woman!

Your daughters adorable and you're rockin' the big stage, YOU GO GURL!

PS. she shouldn't be wearing a necklace with a neckline that high!! And she was doing SO well.

Today's momma, Kate Hudson! She is the fabulous mother of Ryder Russell Robinson, born January 7th 2004 in Los Angeles at 8 pounds 11 ounces! Here Kate attends the Beverly Hills re-opening of Burberry!

Her dress is ADORABLE. I'm not much of a fan of the colour [pea green, eek] but it seems to work with her complexion so, so be it. I love this seasons idea of the bright dress with dark tights underneath! Clearly Kate ROCKS that look! Shes wearing platform sandals that work perfectly with the outfit even if she IS wearing tights with sandals! [ps. the socks and sandals rule still applies; tights is an exception... JUST DONT DO IT, okay?]

Lookin good Kate, hope to see you in more movies with Matthew McConahottie! I would enjoy that...

This weeks theme is BABY MOMMA'S. Each day this week I will showcase a different celebrity mom! Today's pick, Christina Aguilera; mother of Max Liron Bratman, born on January 12th 2008 at 6 pounds 2 ounces!

We all know how successful Ms. Aguilera has been over the past 10 years I just wonder if she can keep up now that shes POST-PREGO! One of my biggest questions for today is do we really like her new hair? I know I'm not much of a fan but Christina has always made outrageous choices with her hair!

Today we see Christina at this years VMA's sporting a long black mermaid style dress. My thoughts on this dress are:
~The shape/style looks amazing on her body especially with her new found MOMMY curves!

~I dont know if you can tell in this picture but her dress is entirely sequined which I must say I'm not a HUGE fan of

~And as far as design, I think I actually really like the concept of it, it looks like a giant spiderweb! Very different, very Christina!

**I dont know if you've noticed but I definately have, many girls in the past two weeks have been sporting the HEART-SHAPED NECKLINE, it's totally adorable and looks great whether your an A cup or D!**

Starlet Cameron Diaz hits the carpet at the very popular MTV Awards! Unfortunately, flying solo, but she seems VERY ready to MINGLE! Ps. If you haven't seen one of her latest movies "What Happens in Vegas" I'm recommending you see it! Side by side with Ashton Kutcher there are many moments of EXTREME slapstick comedy! Thats a keeper...

I love this outfit because it's very simple but still very sassy! I love the black on black polka dots which we also saw on our very first lady caught in dots, Selena Gomez! The length is perfect for Miss Diaz, she needs to show off those crowd stopping LEGS! Her heels are very simple, yet elegant and work perfectly with the dress. I love the fact that she is carrying a WHITE wristlet to contrast her outfit! We know that's a MUST in my fashion diary!

She keeps her hair and makeup very simple and natural looking, that's what I like to see! Honestly girls, don't pack it on, its completely unnecessary. One hundred to one guys like the au natural look ladies! Also I love the open neckline, like I mentioned in the past I'm all about bracelets this year!

Normally I'm not much of a fan of LC but I actually LOVE this ensemble! I love that the polka dots range in size and I love the fabric choice! The metallic tights were a perfect match with that AMAZING top! And apparently the girls this week have GORGEOUS SHOES because they all have been doing great in that department! Peep toed for the win! I'm pretty sure this is the third or fourth pair of peep toes we've seen this week ALONE!

Pop princess Rihanna may not be COVERED in dots but shes got it goin on! PLUS, I don't know if you heard, but she just broke up with last weeks hottie CHRIS BROWN! Not to mention, she was seen making out with KANYE WEST backstage at an event! That girl gets aroundd... Maybe we should get around to talking about her OUTFIT not her sex life!

Somehow this girl makes it work EVERY TIME but that doesn't mean I'm enjoying it! Hmm I'm not too sure what exactly I don't like, I don't think its the actual articles I think its the ensemble.

The corset type thing is cute but I'm reading "Madonna meets the 80's" especially with those over-sized skinny jeans. To be honest I don't really understand those pants... I do LOVE the shoes they're wicked! I guess they add the "classiness" to the outfit!

Hair and makeup always looks amazing with this beauty and I love the fact that shes not wearing a lot of necklaces but she IS wearing lots of BRACELETS! That's the way I roll..

Canada's fav pop star Avril Lavigne is up for grabs today looking totally adorable on the red carpet! The star shows her pearly whites at the 2008 Juno awards in Calgary, Alberta on April 6th 2008. That night Avril was nominated for the following categories: Juno Fan Choice Award, Single of the Year (Girlfriend), Album of the Year (The Best Damn Thing), Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.

I LOVE this dress! The polka dots are dainty and cute unlike anything we've seen this week. I love the mesh halter and the heart neckline, so refreshing! Although she sports that unnecessary pink streak, her hair looks amazing! And even though in most cases bringing a fairy wand to a red carpet award show would be immature I think she totally rocks it!

Go Avril! Way to be the punk-rock princess of Canada!

She is completely hilarious and totally uncensored. Sarah Silverman is one of the top female comedians of our time so I would greatly appreciate it if you watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9R0q75JpDw&feature=related! For all you Americans out there, VOTE OBAMA! Silverman was caught in dots and even stripes.. fashion faux-paux? Lets analyze.

Unlike yesterday's Agyness Deyn, Sarah's polka dots are a perfect size even though they appear to be exactly the same! The reason it worked for her was because not the ENTIRE dress was covered, therefore they didn't own the dress they were merely the "special touch" I'm always talking about! Another awesome addition was the tool underneath the dress creating a Cinderella feel!

As for shoes, open toed is the way to go this season and hers are PERFECT! Two plus factors: they are a classic slingback and the heel isn't outrageous! And the gloves? I mean she works it so WHATEVER! Own that dress gurl, you look H O T!

Supermodel Agyness Deyn has been Caught in Dots! Deyn is now the face of Burberry's new fragrance "The Beat!" and in May of 2008 she released a single with the band "Five O'clock Heroes" called "Who".

To be completely honest, the only thing I absolutely LOVE about this outfit are those AMAZING shoes! I love the modern style with the added touch of a pink heel!

I'm not a huge fan of the dress, I think the polka dots are a tad too large and overall I don't enjoy the styling of the dress.

I do love the fact that she added a hint of colour to match those FABULOUS shoes but I just wish it wasn't her BRA!

My choice: Pink high-waisted belt.

Deyn, loose the bra; you're not a porn star!

Theme this week: CAUGHT IN DOTS! Each day this week I will critique a celeb wearing POLKA DOTS! Today's pic, Selena Gomez! She's rumoured to be dating the youngest Jonas, Nick and happens to be the STAR of a popular Disney show called "Wizards of Waverly Place"!

It's different but she works it! Glamorous but age appropriate, Gomez sports a black polka dotted dress to the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party!
I love the dress especially the sheer long sleeves! Hair and makeup look great, totally cute and appropriate for the outfit and the peep toed shoes are adorable!

The one thing I would change [but that's just me] would be the shoes. Hers do work, but I'm the type to add that hint of colour that is totally random, but COMPLETELY necessary! I'm thinkin RED! Who's with me?

Go Selena! If you're going to dress like that, I'm okay with giving you my FAVORITE Jonas!

OUR FAV MEN IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partSEVEN]

Since this is the last of OUR FAV MEN IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD I figured we'd start as we began, with three handsome young men. Okay, so maybe they're not that handsome, but they're definitely YOUNG! From the left we have, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jonah Hill, and Michael Cera [Jonah and Michael are both CANADIAN BRED:)] To me, these boys are equally amazing to the JOBROS which is pretty high up, but they made one of my FAVORITE movies of all time!
Anyway.

Altogether, these boys look like they're at their high school prom, individually not much better.

MINTZ-PLASSE [sounds like some sort of spread you would put on crackers hahah] : classic "prom" outfit; ahah I've never really used that as an insult until now! He is wearing a patterned tie and it looks like he borrowed it from his dad! Oh boy! Could you have spared the glasses for the PREMIERE? Get contacts.

HILL : All though you may be SUPER-sized, I'm pretty sure you are the best dressed out of the three! Your tie is much nicer than Chris's and it actually looks like YOU bought it!

CERA : You're adorable just because you are extremely awkward but this outfit just makes ya look worse! You can't tell in this picture, but Michael Cera's pants are actually TOO SHORT! Like, common man, you couldn't buy a new suit for the freakin' PREMIERE! You only made how much off that movie? But I must say, SKINNY TIE!!

Before I begin, I must apologize ladies n' gents for my GURU absence this weekend!

So we're changing it up today and throwin a lil FLAVOUR into our Guru madness of this week! Chris mm Brown is on the stand today, making up a lot of new rules for you fashion forward gents out there! Lets begin...

Sweaters over dress shirts are a classic way to look dressed down while still an appropriate way to visit your girlfriends parents! And it may be hard to tell, but he is also wearing a CHECKERED tie underneath! I LOVE the fact that he he put something eclectic with something very plain. His pants aren't anything special but they do match very well with the outfit. And- a classic Chris move- the sneakers. He's rarely seen without 'em!

Also he's sporting enough "bling" to feel fabulous but he doesn't look like Liberace!

Although seen around LA a little tipsy, Shia LaBeouf is one of Steven Speilberg's main men, not to mention my ULTIMATE celeb crush! Now lets check his threads.

It's good to see that he has a little bit of individuality in our world of clones. Shia changes it up with the laid back vans and a comfy cardigan.
BUT, one thing he followed was the SKINNY TIE! Boys, it's repeated enough that you KNOW its a must!
And because I love him SO much, I'm going to talk about his hair; not feeling it. Why try and tame THAT beast!? Hahaha! Facial hair is a must but he looks like he should be living in 1890.

If you have never seen today's chosen one, no worries! He's the up and coming Robert Pattinson, the star of the uuber popular book and now movie "Twilight". I have only heard great things about the book and I know all the super crazed fans are counting down the days till the premiere!

To be honest, I dont know if I'm quite into his style... lets label it as "messy chic"?

Well, I can't be too harsh because he is following one of the rules of this week; a blazer with dressy jeans! But he seems to have slacked. His shoes aren't the requested "kickass" they're actually kind of boring.. maybe even LAME! Whatever, he is one CUTEE boy.
I'm definately a fan of unbuttoning a couple buttons on any dress shirt, it's really not a good idea to look like a high school nerd at an award show! Having the shirt untucked is looking a little sloppy, but I think thats what he was trying to achieve!

Now normally I would stick to just touching the fashion of these high-paid celebs but I HAVE TO talk about that hair!! What is going on, really? That look is only cute right when you wake up in the morning. Don't do that; EVER AGAIN.

Today's man put to the test is only our FAVORITE Gossip Girl star, Ed Westwick [aka Chuck Bass the hot conniving asshole]. A little fun fact, Ed Westwick is also the lead singer of an English band called "The Filthy Youth". And now the fun part, lets talk business.



Ed's brown leather jacket is the perfect accessory to a plain Urban Outfitters tee! Leather jackets are totally in this season I myself am hoping to purchase one ASAP!

He's rockin' the Ray Bans which seems to have been the necessity this summer! LOVE THEM! They're on everyone, from yesterday's JoBros to Hayden Panetierre [and not to mention MOI!] !

As I mentioned yesterday, an awesome way to dress up a pair of jeans is to add a pair of kick ass shoes! Mr. Westwick seems to have got that tip down pact! Just take a look at those kicks!

1. rolling the sleeves up is a MUST

2. skinny ties are completely neccessary; you dont wanna look like youre 40.

3. kick ass shoes. a pair of ballin' nikes or some super slyk snakeskin boots; WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT!

Nick [center]: love the stripped polo! but I must say, those white pants KILL ME! I'm on the fence put tight white pants? common man!
~if you want to be comfortable and ditch the suit its cool, just put on a pair of dress-ier pants [not jeans!] and a polo. The key is to wear a cardigan or nice sweater over top!

Joe [far right]: the in-between man! Joe combines both looks above by wearing a suit jacket but wearing the dressed down pants to go for an "anytime dressy" look!

If I might say so myself, I think these boys dress rather well [or their stylist does anyway....]
