The Guru Is Back!

RU the Guru is back in action people. I won't be updating as much, but I will be posting stuff for Fashion school.

So here's my first assignment on Camilla Belle. We had to create a model card using Adobe's InDesign program. Here it is:

Today's Gossip Guy is Chace Crawford! I figured since we started off with the lead female we mine as well follow with the lead male! Chace plays Nate Archibald in the hit TV series not to mention his new role in the latest "The Haunting of Molly Hunter".

Looking adorable at the premiere of "Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2" Crawford rocks the "I didn't try at all but I still look really hot" look. Don't we all wish we had that gene? The main necessity to the laid-back look is the rolled up sleeves. I like the faded jeans with the dark top; contrast is always a good thing! V-neck's on guys is VERY IN this year! I like it haha and I love the low maintenance shoes! I mean I like my men in Converse and old-school Adidas but sometimes, only sometimes, they need to clean up with some classy loafers. But in this case Chace did a great job!

You rock, keep lookin HOT!

LEAVE THE GOSSIPing TO THE GIRLS, boys! [partONE]

Seeing as it Monday I have a new THEME OF THE WEEK to present to you. This weeks theme: LEAVE THE GOSSIPing TO THE GIRLS, boys! This week we will be analyzing both the girls & GUYS of the hit TV show Gossip Girl! Now I have read the books and I did love them, but I must say NOTHING compares to those scenes that when you're reading you cant even imagine! For example, Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf, just their whole relationship in general... common people if you watch the show you KNOW what I'm talking about!

Today's Gossip Girl, is no other than Blake Lively! She plays the main beauty Serena VanDerWoodsen on this hit show and does a damn fine job if I might add! Now for the threads. Once again we see the deep V neckline which is very sexy but I think it's making her look a little broad. The dress in general is very flattering to her body type, very lean and tall! The gradient on the dress is also very flattering because it starts inward and moves out; versus starting light at the top and getting darker towards the bottom. The length works really well with her LONG LEGS and is totally appropriate! Not to mention blue is totally her color and accentuates her big BLUE eyes!

The plain PEEP-TOED pumps are perfect and even dress down the outfit a little! The height of the heel is totally perfect for those of you tall ladies that want to wear heels but just cant afford to without looking like a GIANT. Blake's hair always looks very low maintenance and great! Also, her makeup usually isn't overpowering which I love! Girls if you have true beauty makeup just CONCEALS it! Don't apply excess amounts... PLEASE!

OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partSEVEN]

Todays lady up for grabs is Rachel Bilson! She's dating hottie Hayden Christensen and recently launched her new clothing line "Edie's Rose"! Am I the only one that misses her on the O.C?

Looking fabulous, Rachel executes a very "glam-rock" look! Blazers are very IN this season, but for those of you girls that go to private schools and they MAKE u wear blazers, not that kind. The white piping around the outside of the blazer adds something unique by not being too overpowering. I LOVE the colored scarf being the stand-out accessory, that is a PERSONAL look of mine... like ALWAYS! I must have received 10 scarves for my birthday this year! Bilson uses so many basic articles of clothing yet the entire look doesn't look remotely boring! If you notice, shes just wearing a plain white top and plain black pants, but its the other stuff like the blazer and the scarf and the boots [which we'll get to in a sec] that makes this outfit AMAZING!

Now; those BOOTS. Rachel Bilson did NOT hesitate to bust out the red-soled and RED HOT Christian Louboutin's for this special event! The black studded boot is VERY in this season! Every time I see a pair I get weak in the knees! Those boots are AMAZING and they are the perfect accessory to make the "glam-rock" look. Rach's hair and makeup is very plain and natural, which we keep seeing on these celebs! I like what I'm seeing this week ladies!

Rachel, you "rocked" my world, MY FASHION WORLD that is.

OUR FAV LADIES IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD [partSIX]

Co-star of this weeks Vanessa Hudgens, today we analyze Ashley Tisdale! This lovely lady plays the infamous Sharpay Evans from High School Musical 1,2&3! Recently she modified her look in two ways. First, she got a nose job! Looks terrible and it was totally unnecessary; of course she said it was for "health reasons"! Yeah sure, whatever. Second, she died her hair brown! I think it looks amazing, the fake blonde thing kinda only works for Paris Hilton, and even then it looks terrible!

Seen at High School Musical 3's premiere Miss. Tisdale looks STUNNING! I love that only the top half of the dress has eccentric detailing, I'm not a fan of the dress being covered with sequins. I LOVE the deep V [I'm totally looking into that style for my PROM!]! Also I love the fact that the waistline is A-line and flatters basically ANY body type! Long and flowing dresses are COMING BACK ladies! Please don't wear itsy-bitsy cocktail dresses to your PROM, that's just wrong.

Her hair, like I said before, looks amazing brown! And not to mention the very low maintenance styling works amazingly! Her makeup is very simple and natural, which I love and encourage! The only jewelry she is wearing is earrings and a ring or two! It was a perfect decision because you DEFINITLY don't want to draw attention from that amazing dress!

Way to bring it back gurl.
